Dear Fan,

A business contact with connections in
some of the top Fortune 500 corporations told
me recently how many CEO's used to send
confidential information. They would send
ordinary email messages with code words,
e.g. 'charley' for merger, etc.
The problem they encountered after a while
was that they forgot what the codes were,
and so they texted each other by cell phone
for reminders. Pretty soon, this was also
abandoned, and they resorted to clear text
email even for very sensitive data. True story.
